Prida Guida & Company Sponsors George Guida Memorial Banquet
TAMPA, Fla. (January 30, 2013) – The George Guida Memorial Outstanding Citizen of West Tampa Award Banquet honoring Angel Rañon was held Thursday, January 30, 2013, at Higgins Hall in Tampa, Florida. This award, honoring outstanding civic service, is presented by the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn made the presentation of this year’s award to Mr. Rañon. George K. Guida and partner in Prida Guida & Company, P.A., was on hand for the ceremony and presentation of the award named in honor of his grandfather.
Presented first in 1950, this award has had over 45 recipients. Former recipients have included Governor Robert Martinez, the Honorable F. Dennis Alvarez, Monsignor Laurence Higgins, the Honorable Mary C. Alvarez, Mr. Tony Alessi, the Honorable Charles Miranda and Jack Lamb, Ed.
