TAMPA, Fla. (October 20, 2014) – Howard Fine, CPA, was recently hired by Prida Guida & Company, P.A. (PGC), a Tampa-based firm of Certified Public Accountants. At PGC he will primarily focus on providing attestation and consulting services.
Howard Fine comes to Prida Guida & Company with over 15 years of experience in accounting and financial services. Prior to PG&Co., Fine was with the public accounting firms Ernst & Young LLP, and Pender Newkirk & Co. LLP, where he planned, executed and reviewed financial statement audits. Fine additionally performed controls documentation, tested key business processes and performed review and testing of management’s remediated controls to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.“Howard is going to add audit experience in the merger and acquisition sector.” says Lou Prida, senior partner.Prior, Fine was a Senior Manager with the national consulting firm The Siegfried Group where he provided interim accounting and auditing assistance primarily to Fortune 1000 companies.Howard began his career with T. Rowe Price & Associates where he served as a senior associate in Retail Account Services. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA. He graduated from the University of South Florida with Bachelor in Economics, the University of Tampa with a Bachelor in Accounting and Everest University with a Master of Business Administration.
Fine has been married to Kimberly for seventeen years and together have one son, Jacob. Howard and Kimberly started Jacob’s Touch, a non-profit for Tampa Bay area families of children on the Autistic Spectrum. The goal of Jacob’s Touch is to fund therapy services, doctor visits and education expenses for children in the Tampa Bay area.
