Prida Guida & Co., P.A. Welcomes Back Jessica Chase

Tampa, Fla. (August 3, 2015)- Jessica Chase, formerly Jessica Simone, has returned to Prida Guida & Company, P.A. after gaining two years of international tax experience at a global technology company.

Chase’s main responsibility was managing the international tax provision, which required her to calculate the global tax impact of approximately 150 foreign entities/branches. Chase would coordinate with the foreign controllers/local tax preparers and research international tax legislative updates each quarter to determine the international tax impact of each foreign entity/branch. Additionally, Chase would review the U.S. international tax provision calculations and the U.S. international tax compliance filings, which included calculating and reviewing Subpart F income, foreign earnings and profits, deemed paid tax, foreign source income, foreign tax credit utilization, and FIN48 positions.Chase graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S and M.S. in Accounting and she completed a Business Study Abroad Program at the Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid, Spain. In addition, Chase is the Assistant Treasurer of the Junior League in Sarasota and next year she will be the Treasurer.
