Prida Guida announces New Hire

TAMPA, Fla. (January 23, 2015) – Yangconghui (Annie) Qiu was recently hired by Prida Guida & Company, P.A. (PGC), a Tampa-based Accounting firm. At PGC, Qiu will primarily focus on providing tax and consulting services.

Qiu graduated from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree and also received a Master’s Degree from the University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business. She joined the firm in January 2014 as an intern and is now preparing to sit for her CPA exam.PGC Senior Partner Lou Prida said, “Annie has been a wonderful new addition this past year to our tax department; she surprised us with a wealth of international experience she gained while working in the transportation industry while living in Xinxiang China.”

Qiu speaks fluent Mandarin, English and some Cantonese and Japanese. She graduated with Honors, earned a Becker Scholarship and participated in the Graduate Assistantship. She is a member of the Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. More recently, she earned the Ethical Leadership Certification Program Award with the NASBA Center for the Public Trust.

Qiu continues to support the community through her involvement in Give Kids the World, American Cancer Society and E-boats, an organization that focuses on keeping Tampa Bay clean.
