Local CPA Firm Makes New Hire

Tampa, Fla. (November 29, 2011) – Jared W. Resnick, CPA, was recently hired by Prida Guida & Company, P.A. (PGC), a Tampa-based firm of Certified Professional Accountants. At PGC he will primarily focus on providing attestation and consulting services.

PGC brought Resnick on in order to continue to improve the services they provide. “Jared Resnick is an excellent addition to our firm,” said Lou Prida, managing shareholder of PGC. “He brings an excellent skill set to the table and his experience in a wide variety of industries will help us better serve our clients.”

Resnick, has nearly nine years of public accounting experience and most recently served as Audit Manager at Grant Thornton. He specializes in several industries including homebuilding, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, and HMOs. He is also well versed in public filings such as 10-K audits, 10-Q reviews, benefit plan audits, and various other SEC public filings.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Honors from the University of Florida in 2001 and his Master of Accountancy from the University of South Florida in 2003.

Resnick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also volunteers his time with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.
