Prida Guida Company Sponsors George Guida Memorial Banquet

TAMPA, FL (February 11, 2016) – The George Guida Memorial Outstanding Citizen of West Tampa Award Banquet honoring Richard S. Caldevilla, Sr. was held Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Higgins Hall in Tampa, Florida. This award, honoring outstanding civic service, is presented by the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the West Tampa Optimist Club. Last year’s recipient, Luis Garcia made the presentation of this year’s award to Mr. Caldevilla. George K. Guida, CPA, shareholder of Prida Guida & Company, P.A., was on hand for the ceremony and presentation of the award named in honor of his grandfather.

Presented first in 1950, this award has had over 45 recipients. Former recipients have included former Governor Robert Martinez, the Honorable F. Dennis Alvarez, Monsignor Laurence Higgins, E.J. Salcines, Jr., Mr. Tony Alessi, Jr., the Honorable Charles Miranda, Dr. Emilio Echevarria and Elvin Martinez.
